Third Party Analyst does not seem to agree with Intel Performance Analysis

This is a very interesting read.  It is interesting that Intel is talking about having a performance advantage over AMD.  The current speculation is that the next set of multi-core CPUs will actually be dual core CPUs wired together inside a single package.  I just don't see how Intel is going to "win" the performance war anytime soon.

BTW, I have a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering and I specialized in Computer Architectures, VLSI design, and Micro-electronics, so this type of stuff is really fascinating to me.
