ADO.NET Data Provider for RSS, POP3, NNTP, IMAP, SMTP

IP*Works! ADO.NET Data Provider   ( via The Daily Grind 495 )

All I gotta say is this has to be the coolest thing to come out in a while.

I am going to try this out with my customized variation of Deyan Petrov's Data Access and Transaction Handling Framework (DAC2).
And then I am going to try this out with our very easy to use XML based Control Mapper that is used to populate WinForm controls from entities.

Sounds very cool, I will let you know how it works!

  • I was wondering if your XML based Control Mapper is something you would like to share or give a basic overview to how it works.

  • I will hopefully be posting some information in the next couple of weeks related to the Control Mapper (and some other goodies)

Anyone know of a good public source control site (for posting open source projects) that uses Subversion? I'm not a big fan of SourceForge or GotDotNet but I will use one of these if I have to.

  • What did you find you needed to change for your custom version of DAC2? I had not heard of this framework before and it looks interesting, but curious what your testing found.
