Installing Visual studio 2005

At last I got time to install VS 2005. I was disappointed to see that I need to remove Whidbey 1.2 installation in order to install the new version. Is that side by side execution?

ok I am confused now, you said VS 2005 is out to public? I can't find a link to download. I am also a MSDN universal subscriber, didn't find it there also. Any idea?
