More tools for Net

It seems this is relatively new (for me). A series of tools for VS.Net (Freewares)

  • Code Library for .Net version 5.7 (MS Access)
  • Code Library for .Net version 5.7 (SQL Server)
The most impressive, let you manage your code snippets.
OK sorry for the number of updates, but I am trying those tool and yes it's hard with an Help file in chinese ;-)
Anyway THIS is really the tool to have. I was looking for this since ages.
Code Library embed a browser so you can quickly search for a piece of code and store it under a node or category if you want. Amazing and bluffing ! So you have 2 versions, and I am currently testing the Access one.
Great developer behind this. Just discovered that the code is paste in a record with Line numbering and colors.
Also when you paste the code you can choose a favorite language (like C#) for your snippet and this is how it can colorize your code. I have the feeling that I am going to find a VB <-> C# converter soon embedded if I continue to review this !
I am going to need few dozen of pages to describe the marvels this tool provide.

  • Code Library convert tool 4.42
This is for the users who downloaded an earlier version of code Library
  • Code Library Upgrade tool 1.1
It's only in te case you want to migrate from the Access version to the SQL version
  • Resource for .Net 1.1
    • Support .resX and .resources files
    • Support ImageList/Bmp/Icon/String...etc. all resource type.
    • Support imagelist pictures and image type file import/export.
  • Capture for .Net 1.3
Let you capture a Window, a Region or the color of a pixel anywhere on your screen.
Simple but amazing showtime of .Net power. I like the semi-transparent window !
Truly better than the Prnt Scrn button on your computer
  • Convert C# to VB.Net
    Obvious ;-)
Just test it, pretty good, use 3 different websites methods to convert
  • ???

For the last one, not sure because I can't read Chinese, but seems to  be linked to Microsoft speech, somethng like words to voice.

UPDATE: I found a discussion forum for Code Library
