My life in hell with VS 2005

OK the title is really strong but with all the annoying issues I have with web projects in VS 2005, I decided to record in an article all the bad and ugly I found when migrating my projects.
I will post hopefully this on a regular basis, and my wish is to use that as a live journal for people who have also the same issues but don’t/can’t blog about it.
Of course I hope also to find positive comments and solutions which will prove helpful for everybody.

Blogs aren't actually the best way to ask questions and get help on migration issues. A better forum is to post migration questions here: http://forums.asp.net/1012/ShowForum.aspx

There are a set of folks on the VS team who constantly monitor this forum to help people with migration issues. If you ask a question, you'll get an answer here.

If you post question on a blog they will probably go missed.

Hope this helps,

Scott

Hi Scott

My intention is to report for people like me alone in their corner how cool but hard it is to move to VS 2005. Writing an article is a good way to not repeating myself on a daily new post.
I already started my list and I will appreciate your feedback there :-)
The product is surely great but not easy!

Why don't you spend some time learning the tools and the technology before mouthing off everytime?

Mick sorry for you dude but I learn this tool since a year, but it's really the first time I have the occasion to use it on a real project. Check the article and other than licking Microsoft boots, try honestly to help here and we'll talk!
I am really tired of all this political correctness we need to have. Why on hell I have to spend so many times to move from one version to another. I rather prefer to work on new features than having those stupid stopovers.

All I can says is, thanks. I don't intend to use vs2005 until at least the first service pack is released. Please keep pointing out problems. Maybe they will be fixed when I'm ready to come on board.
