The discourses go on: Ingo Rammer and I talk about designing interfaces between services
Listening to a discussion often offers a new view on a subject, because hearing contrasting thoughts next to each other sparks your own thoughts in a different way than reading a just an article explaining some subject. That´s why thinktecture now publishes its second email discourse on an software architectural topic.
Ingo Rammer and I talked about design issues of interfaces between "services" in the world of "connected systems". Also we tackle the question, in how far component interfaces might differ from "service" interfaces. And in the end, you find a descision tree giving you a roadmap to designing interfaces.
Reactions to the first thinktecture discourse on Indigo between thinktecture´s Christian Weyer and me were so positive, we decided to continue this form of knowledge transfer. Of course, we hope you like this discourse as much as the first one (which unfortunately is only in German). Let us know, what you think!
