  • 10k? You mean 10kB/s? Isn't that the point of bittorrent? When some people have some parts of your torrent you all supply parts in the cloud. This is what bittorrent is made for :).

  • The torrent link is broken - literally.

I'd be happy to help spread it, as I'd like to watch it myself :)

  • Use a torrent client (such as Azureus) that supports super-seeding -- roughly, ensure you only send out a given piece of the file once to ensure a full copy is uploaded to the collective as soon as possible.

If you're worried about the slow start, get your private seeders to just join the super-seeded torrent before announcing it.

  • I'd be happy to seed. I'm curious why you'd send the file to a user with a faster connection first, rather than just share it with bit torrent.

As soon as I get a few bits of the file, my bit torrent client will share those with others and you'll notice an immediate load-share.

I'll seed as long as you like me to.

  • OK, I've fixed the broken link, and have sent the private link to a couple of people already.
You can start using bittorrent for the download though.
Be kind, keep seeding it after you've finished downloading :)

  • I'm trying to help out, but I get 0 seeds and 0 peers in the swarm... Weird.

  • utorrent is telling me that there are two seeds currently, so I'm not sure what the problem may be.
I hate doing things for the first time - I always feel like I'm so clunky with getting it right it's not even funny :)
