I think the problem is not the entrance fee but the 2 days duration.
Sparing an emplyoee for 2 days is much more unlikely to happen than a 1 day conference, something we've been accustomed to, curtesy of Microsoft.
Since it's done the first time in Israel, why not start with a one day conference?
You could do introductory issues + drilldown on one or two methodologies and/or Agile related technologies - the ones most recommended.
I have started implementing Scrum in my team and everything seems to be a lot more in control.
Good luck

I doubt it. IMO most companies do not actually employ agile methodologies; when they do get employed it's usually private enterprise on the part of relatively low-level managers, or ocassionaly even developers themselves.
I agree with Amitai, few people will attend a two days conferrence. On the other hand if you could select and pay only one of the two days, it can be a solution too. How about contacting ILTAM ? On Tuesday, 6th of September, they organize a seminar on Agile development at Daniel hotel/ Hertzlia. No lunch, 14:00 -18:00, 3 presentations, 60$. Free for ILATM members.
