  • Drew: Yes - it *was* possible, but I was at a chat last night with the VS team and this is exactly one of the things I asked. Kit George than replied that this would not be possible in the final version...

    Support for creating visualizers for CLR types is not going away. And it should be there now. The crucial component of this mechanism is the Target named parameter - using it you are not required to have the source of the target type. I've made sure that Kit knows what's going on, and also made sure that he lets me know if they are cutting that particular aspect of the debug visualization attributes.
