The entire conversation aside... i'm stoked there's an
ASP.NET channel on IRC that has people that know what
they're talking about in it.

I still find it funny how so many people are so blind
for the consequences and at the same time find the point
that there ARE consequences pretty lame, WHILE MS has
the same policy (and other software corps. have it too):
don't look at other people's code e.g. don't look at
GPL-ed code if you're working on our own code.
So a windows kernel programmer at MS can't look at Linux
code at all, it's forbidden by MS. Which is logical, but
it is effectually the same thing as me looking at Linq
to Sql sourcecode in vs.net's debugger.
