Well, a quick test of the site and I'm so far unable to get
google ads working on the new upgrade of CS. Perhaps that's
part of the plan, or perhaps it's just an oversight.

Also, how to enable that your post ends up in the main
feed? My tests currently don't end up in the main feed,
which sux.
Frans, you have to add a tag like ".NET" for your posts
to appear in the home page.
There won't be any support for google ads. BTW, I am
just the messenger. It is specifically disabled.
It seems that you can't add script tags to the News
section. So you can't add page counters and so on
either. The good news is that it's a setting of CS (more
info here:
http://community.bartdesmet.net/blogs/bart/archive/2006/05/08/3952.aspx).
I've mailed with Alex from Telligent and he told me this
setting would be changed "in a couple of hours". That
was 6 hours ago, so I'm still waiting. Maybe someone
else can request this too?
If they are not going to allow Google ads, I'm moving my
blog elsewhere. I even want to pay for this blog if that
would make a difference!
