MSDN .NET Framework "latest" article?

Broswing to the MSDN .NET Framework section today and I notice that there's a new article published recently:

Introducing ADO+: Data Access Services for the Microsoft .NET Framework
Find out about the design motivations behind ADO+ (now ADO.NET). Plus, read a brief introduction to the various classes in the two layers that comprise the ADO+ framework—the connected Managed Providers and the disconnected DataSet.    (August 4, Article)

Well, this item is published on 4 Aug 2003, but you can also see that the subject is “Introducing ADO+ ....”, and the content is talking about ASP+ !

Hey, what's ADO+ ? ASP+ ? :)

P.S. This article is originally published on Nov 2000 and 100% technically valid !

  • Well at first it made sense, since COM+ had come out just before that and .NET was sort of the next evolution of COM (in a way)! :P

"A Preview of Active Server Pages+" was the first book on .NET I read (was handed out at PDC 2000).

  • haha... Luckily they've changed the title to ASP.NET, otherwise we'll have to use "ASP++" later :)
