A little memorial for some dead Microsoft products

I ran across the tombstone generator this morning so I made up a little memorial for some dead Microsoft products:

Before you get too crazy I'm just kidding about the IE thing. I still like IE but I sure hope they follow mozilla's cue and implement all the features people are asking for.

  • Congratulations. You've just attracted the more rabid Mozilla/Firefox/KHTML/Opera fans who will link to your site to prove that IE is about as successful as bob.

I'm not sure I like the subtitle of your blog.

It implies you a) like writing assembly or machine language in hex b) believe binary disk files should be loaded byte for byte at a developer defined position under 0x0400 c) believe your blog is the first blog on the disk d) prefer to write code targetting the hardware directly (or at least a competitor's kernel) instead of a perfectly serviceable version of MS BASIC and e) endorse smashing the stack to improve useability (rather upsetting those who believe the stack is sancrosanct and smashing it a grave security risk)
