CodeSmith 2.6 has just been released and is the best CodeSmith ever!

Here is a summary of what's new:

Syntax highlighting of both template and target languages in CodeSmith Studio.

Much improved Visual Studio .NET custom tool.

Outlining support in CodeSmith Studio.

Line modification markers in CodeSmith Studio.

CodeSmith Studio is now a single instance application.

Improved compiler and template execution performance.

Better Unicode support.

Tons of other minor improvements and bug fixes.

Cool. I was surprised that it didn't offer to uninstall the old version, though. ;)

Actually, it's setup to install side-by-side with 2.5 so that you can use both versions if you wanted to.

Small bug in it though, I forgot after I rebuilt my machine to install 2.5, seen this today and no better time than the present. So being I never had 2.5, When I run this the tool window in VS the Samples is Empty if I right click on it and say New C# Template now I get error

The following exception has occurred:

DirectoryNotFoundException: Could not find a part of the path "c:\program files\codesmith\v2.5\Samples\NewTemplate1.cst

But if I add a new folder and map it back to the 2.6 sample then right click under there it works. Mini bug. Looks like it is looking for the old version.
