Almost Free Full Tech Books

I should also mention that through my work I have access to Books24x7.com, but I hardly access it. The UI is straight from 1994, and is pretty clunky to boot. I don't know if that's ElementK's (through which my work gains access) fault or Books24x7 though, so your mileage may vary.

Hey! There will be no making fun of the ElementK Books24x7 implementation!! :-) I made that! Hmm... actually, it was almost 1994 ago that I made it and it doesn't appear to have changed... oh well... I still made it! :-)

  • I need to start taking note of whether the url ends in .ASP before I take potshots at website designs :)

My favorite feature of Books24x7 right now is under programming they have a .NET/C# category and a Visual Basic category. Which one has VB.NET stuff? And even more confusing is that when I click on the link for Visual Basic, there are books about ATL.

Of course, I'm the type of person who has thought about rearranging the books at Barnes and Noble into a more logic layout. Boy I'm a geek.
