I have been in the IT Industry since 1998.  I graduated college in 1990 with a BS Degree in Economics.  After some time in the Insurance Industry I got bored and wanted to do something more challenging. Inspired by my father I started taking night classes in IT.  4 - 5 classes later  I was lucky and landed my first IT job doing COBOL at a mainframe shop. Within a year I was working on the desktop development team using VB 5 and SQL Server 7.  About 6 months later I ventured off into consulting doing web development, mostly intranet.  I am now working with .NET 2.0, VS 2008 using Windows Forms, Web Services and .NET Remoting.
