I am willing some day GMail let users access their inboxes
through HTTPMail protocol because I haven't been able to
download my messages through POP3 at home and because POP3
access at work is forbidden. The only email service which uses
HTTPMail protocol I know is Hotmail. If you do know any other,
please, let me know about.

so use Hotmail :-)
Dear BillG,
Increase my email storage to 1 GB and cut out the
obligation to log in at least one time each 30 days and
I'll keep using Hotmail.
Bitbreaker,
I have used FreePOPs and it is really great as a
POP3/Web interface bridge, but, in my case, did not work
well for SMTP. Moreover, everytime the web interface
changes, the program stop working and you have to
download a new LUA file or new program release.
Anyway, thanks for the comment.
Yes, It's true: everytime the UI changes, the software
stop working BUT Gmail interface didn't change so
much...yet.
There's another (italian) software that allows you to
have a SMTP/Web bridge: HTML2POP3 by Baccan .
Google it...and let me know...eventually.
