Adventures in BizTalkLand - Part 3

After installing BizTalk on a VPC running Windows Server 2003, I started doing the tutorials that can be downloaded from the BizTalk Website.  The first one went without a glitch but I failed to make the second one work in part because I didn't knew all the BizTalk concepts at that point.  So I decided to do some reading.  Well, the only reading that I could find was the documentation in the form of the help file (that I updated with the latest refresh of course).

Boy this is a complex product!  The lack of books, MOCs or self training material doesn't help either.

See you after I'm done reading.

  • Welcome to the land of the confused, excited, orchestrated, amazed, and confused again. 8-)

Biztalk is indeed an unkind beast, but it is a wonderful product. I discovered late that this is not something to do alone, but -as I said-, it was too late.

Do you have access to the MVP Academy? I have some courseware from a previous BT 2004 course, and they were running now a 101-type course. It can be useful to you.

    Best luck!

  • Hi guy,

It seems you guys are very new to Biztalk.

    Welcome to Biztalk Community.

You need to understand core functionality what Biztalk 2004 offers.

For better understanding the functionality you can go throug BTS 2000 presentations from MSDN.

It will help to understand the core functionality in BTS.

I am working with BTS from 4 years and enjoying..

Recently finished one implementation on BTS2004.

    Best of Luck ....
