Bet you didn't know the HAL 9000 was programmed in
Visual Basic? How can you tell? Listen to his voice. No
other computer language could ever sound like that.
This show is terrible and for reasons like this. They
just grab techy words and phrases and throw them in
wherever they can just to make it sound cool. I bet my
mom would have been intrigued by creating a gui with
visual basic ... i bet, to her, it sounds so high tech.
CSI: two thumbs down.
It could happen! Don't you remember the computer from
the X-Files episode who wrote its own AI-code? Thus a VB
GUI could perhaps learn how to sniff IP addresses. She
failed to specify what gui components she was going to
use though.
I do however fail to see why she prefers VB over C#
