I need to stop blogging, Macromedia is catching on...

Flash 7 will include (among other things), 2x-10x performance gains, VSS support, OO inside of Actionscript, and Forms based layout / design. Additionally, Royale will add support for declarative (JSP/ASPX style) flash presentations... Yah, this is all pre-launch hype, but it does sound like a significant improvement...

I'm not too excited about that. I assume it is like the "HTML" support in Flash. You probably get about 1% of the actual spec, which makes it pretty useless.

I highly doubt that. I read somewhere that the flash 7 bytecode is pretty much identical to the flash 6 bytecode.

I guess I use HTML text in Flash too much for me to understand how it is useless...
