America's Top Model + Survivor + HTTP = beautifulpeople.net
Maybe this is off-topic, but it is amusing as hell that this exists:
"Why BeautifulPeople.net?
The initiative behind BeautifulPeople.net is derived from an individuals increasing need for an easier more focused way of seeking and finding likeminded people of a similar social standing and physical appearance.
The average on-line user spends most of their time, filtering out and having unsuccessful mail correspondence with people who are far from their ideal match. This is a result of too many online mainstream communities, which target all demographics of people. BeautifulPeople.net being a niche site and catering exclusively to attractive and successful people eliminates this problem...
How do I get voted in to BeautifulPeople.net?
The only way a person can obtain membership is by being voted in by existing members of the opposite sex. The result of the vote is final. However if you do not get voted in the first time round, you may re-submit later with a better profile and picture.
The members either vote for or against the membership of an applicant and the final decision therefore depends on the count of votes. In that way the wishes of the members of BeautifulPeople.net, reflects their expectations in relation to the type of people they want to have on their system."
www.beautifulpeople.net will you make the cut? If not, you will be out ten bucks:
"As of Tuesday the 2nd of August all applicants will be charged a non-refundable $10.00 for applying to BeautifulPeople Network. This fee will stand regardless of the rating outcome."
If you get voted off, don't worry. They always have room at www.uglypeople.com
