Sean Corfield points out this interview with Sean Neville, a Macromedia Architect, about RIAs.

Interestingly, his discussion about the future or RIAs (Q. 10 and scattered elsewhere) seems to point a lot more to what .NET already does than it does to any future versions of Flash I have heard about.

No, GlobalServices.SolveWorldHunger() isn't going to be ready till version 3.0 (security issues). For now, the best they can offer is GlobalServices.CreateWorldPeace() ;-)
