IE Beta 3: Officially Unusable.

General Software Development Internet Explorer 7 Beta 3

Don't bother downloading it unless you really need to. Beta 2 worked fairly well on this system. Beta 3 consistanly hangs within 5 minutes of usage for me.

Interesting - I've had no problems whatsoever with it hanging.

Did you uninstall Beta 2 and/or reboot before installing Beta 3? (If I recall, I upgraded one of my machines from B2 -> B3 and had no issues with it, but I've generally found that with recent MS beta software that upgrades aren't as solid as clean installs!).

Personally, IE7 is my browser of choice, even over Firefox and Flock. (We'll see with Firefox 2.0).

Yes. I did uninstall / reinstall, since you can't install without uninstalling the old beta first. :)

I've had no problems with B3 here, has worked great.

Hmm.. I thought there was an upgrade option, but then I haven't actually installed B3 on many machines that had B2 installed (often it was a reclone anyway).
