Vista RTM Installation Cannot Update Boot Configuration
If you get this error, I'll save you all the trouble I went through figuring out how to resolve this:
1. gpupdate /force /boot
2. reboot
3. give Administrator owner on \boot if it exists
4. give Administrator "full control" on \boot
5. delete \boot (warning: make sure you have updated to NT52 boot with bootsect.exe)
Other than that, Vista is working great on my M200. Glass is really unstable, but the good news is it looks like NVidia will be supporting it at some point. They have upgraded the drivers to pull RAM from your machine, upping the graphics memory from 32MB to as much as you want to give it. This is good news, besides the fact that the latest NVidia drivers crash the windows display manager whenever you have two full screen windows open.
