Description:

  • A simple plugin for the Microsoft Windows Live Writer (beta) blogging tool that adds an "Insert Thumbnail of Url" option.  This plugin enables you to use the WebSnapr service to quickly embed a thumbnail image of any website.

    Next time you want to link to an website, use this instead of(or in addition to) the "Insert Link..." to give your readers a more visual experience.

    NOTE:     I'm not affiliated with WebSnapr.com, just a big fan!

Installation Instructions:

  • Close Windows Live Writer, and simply copy the enclosed DLL to your Windows Live Writer Plugins folder.  Afterwards, a new option should appear on the right-hand menu.
       
    Usually:  C:\Program Files\Windows Live Writer\Plugins\
