• What surprises me most is not that they did it - Microsoft is consistently bully-ish in their deals with others - but that they let you keep a paper trail of their intimidation tactics. This used to be said in parks or golf courses, "Nice add-on you have, chap. It would be a shame if something bad happened to your company".
  
  You are a competitor to them, in the sense you provide functionality that is seen to drive revenue away from their high-cost SKUs.
  
  If I were you, I would start paying more attention to strange objects under your car or anything fishy about your brakes ;-)
  

• careful, they are stalling you so they can get their own product out and cut your market. interesting, i've never really met an ms-goon, but here one is. be strong.
  

• Oops, I see the legal docs now. They basically sum up the correspondences and they sum up what MS INTENDED for the EULA and they make reference to a specific section.

  Have you? It doesn't sound like you have. If that's all they have then they have nothing. It seems Jason is still hung up on the idea that you revered engineered.
  

• I'd like to thank u for this product, I've downloaded the free edition & It helps a lot.
  I hope u'll not be charged anyway for this action.
  Microsoft is a pure commercial company(money before anything including science & community).
  While developers, a lot of them, are targeting science, and community before money.
  I'm using VC# Express (the first useful free tool from Microsoft) beside other free open source software.
  I feel too bad towards Microsoft for disabling important features that can help developers to do better job.
  
  I appreciate that they want to sell their products to gain more money, but they r already selling alot, they r not harmed anyway.
  No need or meaning to be SOOO greedy & selfish while we r talking about a science.
  It's a scientific work at the end, isn't called computer science or software engineering.
  
  There are budget-limited developers who want to learn more & do great job for themself & community.
  But, Micorosft can't understand this concept. May be they think that people who create free software are crazy.
  On the contrary, Microsoft gained a great future & reputation that, I see, they don't deserve.
  I never liked any product for them (expect C#) & I hate being a developer with Microsoft tools.
  I hoped to quit the MS side and jump into java & linux side. But unluckly time is not suitable anymore.
  Any OS is more stable than Windows. Any free software is more stable than any Microsoft product & less demanding for resources.
  I won't deny that they did a great role be making everyone able to use computers & internet (including me).
  But, they spoiled the science & the market by letting anyone be a developer through their wizards & next to finish.
  
  Sorry for being chatty, english isn't my native language (arabic is mine), so I needed alot of lines to express :)
