Videos blogs

I really like all the frenzyness introduced by Channel 9 about videoblogging. I am just not sure I have the time to see all of them.

After all, I am paid for a daily job, so watching videos for more than 2 minutes can add too much on my deadlines :-)

Anyway I just watched one done by Mike Schinkel with Joe Binder from Microsoft about the My class in VB 2005. Great stuff.

My only critic will be about this new fashion to interview anybody anywhere (there Mike in a canteen or a restaurant, not sure), so with a very poor sound quality. And a busy staff in the background.

So now I imagine we can expect Robert Scoble in the packed morning bus, Rory in his toilets (it seems to consider this as a 'deluxe' piece of furniture) !

Well guys I am ready for an interview in a busy overwhelming Dublin pub :-)

  • Hey, the videos up on Channel9 are all around two minutes long. So you can watch ours without slipping your software too much.

OUCH! Hey, it was proof-of-concept; second time I'd ever used the camera (the first five 15 minutes prior!), okay? And I'd never used film editing software in my life! While filming I presumed it was going to be pretty much a total waste!!! I have an engineering degree and often wonder if I even have a right brain so I was pretty damn proud of how *well* it came out (the glass was half full, not half empty in this case.) Anywho, thanks for the mention!

Oh, and I *do* plan to be in Dublin to see a friend of mine later this year; at which pub do you want to set up the interview? You *will* be buying the Guiness, right? :-)
