Douglas from StopDesign posted an interesting and fun idea:

  1. Grab the nearest book.
  2. Open the book to page 23.
  3. Find the fifth sentence.
  4. Post the text of the sentence in your journal along with these instructions.

And because I obviously do whatever anyone tells me to do, you’re reading this post.

I find this a fun experience. This is my sentence, just from a .Net book I received this morning:

' Let's get started! Open your text editor(Notepad is fine) '

What's your sentence ?

PS: Yes sad to see that the author of the book has to wait 23 pages to start something in .Net :-)

  • In a case like this, increasing memory is a more appropriate solution, because it will decrease pressure on the disk and processor as well.
