Yahoo toolbar

After Google, you have now Yahoo with a tool called Companion. A new version is planned for this week with like Google, a popup blocker.

Hmmm! my screen start to look like a junkyard ;-)

We should wait for Internet Explorer Update with Windows XP SP2, there is already a popup killer in the update, why install thousands of search engine toolbars?

Yes you're right, but IE update is surely not until april or may 2004

I love the Google toolbar, and I've installed it on all machines in the house. It sure prevents a whole lot of garbage popups...

usefull but norton stops popups / ads and ye cool if win xp sp2 update when its available has a pop blocker you can uninstal yahoo companion or just wait for the sp2 update :) roflol

Don't really need a toolbar if you are using a good browser (Opera, Mozilla).

Got it accidentally when opening a mail account - its just wasting screenspace (next to Google) but I can't find out how to get rid of it permanently. Keeps coming back. And trying to contact Yahoo is like spitting to the moon.

how to get rid of the toolbar also, it should have a right click button on the toolbar to unintsall.

I like the google search bar, but do not need the yahoo too bar underneath it also.

i've tried removing it using MS's recommendations, and it doesn't work. this thing blows! I want google back (yahoo somehow got rid of it)!

Click on the "?" to the right of the toolbar, then click on the UNINSTALL tab.
