  • Isn't Bindows a bit of a risky name considering the hernia Microsoft are having over Lindows at the moment?

  • How does it work? I can only say: it's amazing. It seems to do a lot of javascript, however I don't think they draw all the widgets with javascript so they must hook into windows in some way. It's a great toolkit for developers who have to write a webinterface because of the non-installation requirements.

  • Looks nice, very good looking.

Though, my understanding is that it take a radical opposite way as compared to Webforms: Bindows (yep, a very risky name ;-)) works on IE only, and takes advantage of the rich features of IE, whereas Webforms was designed to be "as cross-crowser as can be", with the baseline "Anywhere, any time, on any device" in mind.

  • Yeah, really good work!

But it doesn't hook into windows, it's all DHTML and javascript combined with XML data post/get.

And the current version runs on Mozilla/Firefox as well except for the charting modules.
