I actually had a DOS TSR that did this, back in the day. (The first part, not the synonym part.) It was pretty slick.

Well.. SHIFT+F7 will bring up Thesarus containing words begining with the one you typed, and synonyms. It's not inline.... but close..

Doesn't google suggest (kind of) do this? It actually wouldn't be too incredibly difficult to accomplish...

yeah... what's wrong with MSWord dictionary? the only missing piece is the Ctr+Space...
