I agree that the lack of search is a bummer, but you are
wrong about being able to add comments. This comment was
added by clicking the 'Add Comment' at the bottom of
your entry.
The lack of search really is retarded. It was so obvious
that google reader would have a search that I didnt even
think of checking for that before adding my feeds to
it... now the only reason I am not switching back away
from it is laziness! Another killer is that the "Read"
status keeps resetting itself, no matter how many time I
click the "Mark all as read" button - so much for
sharing that between machines. It is also fairly slow
though I guess that part's a given with a web app.
Hi. My reason to really like Google Reader (and
recommending it to everyone I know) is that it follows
me wherever there's a browser - the quintessential
quality of any browser based application - but in
addition it even goes on my (any) mobile WAP-phone so
that I'm _always_ updated with the latest from the
ISerializable blog :)
Per - I agree...having my feeds up-to-date wherever I am
has trumped functionality of a rich client. It's very
nice, indeed.
