Visual Basic 2005 introduces new compiler checking options. The /nowarn and /warnaserror options provide more control over how warnings are handled. Each one of these compiler options now takes a list of warning IDs as an optional parameter, to specify to which warnings the option applies.

At Tech-Ed Europe on June 29, 2004 (Today), Microsoft is announcing the Beta 1 of VS.Net 2005 (The best developer tool Microsoft has ever shipped). The beta will be available for download by MSDN subscribers shortly after it's release.

Finally I have installed VS2005 (Tech Preview May 2004) Today!
I have got my VS2005 (Tech Preview May 2004) beta CD’s yesterday and installed it Today!
Good news with this new build for me is, my IIS stops crashing (March 2004 release given this problem to me)!!! Hooo!! It’s very good news to me. If any one out there has same problem, please install new build, it’s far better than previous build! -

Default maxRequestLength given hard time to me!!
Previously one of our (GSA Client) clients file upload application is in ASP. Now we are planning to convert it into .Net. When I convert and upload a large file, I started getting errors, the same file I used to upload easily in ASP??
15 min I pulled my hair to solve this error! After some time I realized maxRequestLength in httpRuntime is causing the problem. Haa… some times brain won’t react early to identify the issues!! -
