Longhorn speech API

Jason Nadal has a nice, short article which gives an initial overview of the future Longhorn speech API.

It certainly makes developing new speech enabled applications look very simple and clean. It would be nice to get a peek into any capabilities the API might provide for extending existing applications, ie the way Dragon NaturallySpeaking can be extended with its native VBScript or with the python based NatLink
