I didn't realize that there were any Novell NetWare customers left

Funny, I thought I was one of the last Novell believers left, and I lost my religion on or about 1997.  I remember trying to write a very simple Novell NLM.  I was so confused, I didn't know which end was up.  Obviously, I never got it working.  I also remember trying to write a Windows Service about that time, and I didn't know which end was up either, but I could tell that Microsoft's development tools were FAR superior to whatever Novell was thinking about at that time.  I wrote my first "Successful" Windows Service in 2001 based on .NET 1.0 beta 2 at that time.  Just about the only thing I think I can't do at this time is to write an ISAPI .dll with .NET, AFAIK.

  • Wally, That is funny you say that today... When I logged into the network at my Fortune 100 desk job this morning a Novell uninstall script ran.
