Keyboard error: press F1 to continue

Yes, you've heard about them, those funny error codes and you actually thought... those are cooked up, of course no-one gets these, right? Well, I did too, until this morning, when I fired up my old test box (p3-933 box). I was pretty surprised to see the following screen (I took a picture for proof)

. Well, it turned out, the keyboard cable was unplugged accidently. You really have to admire those Ye Olde Bios code programmers for their sense of humour

I must say, it one of the most errors I see daily :(

Somehow the keyboards get unhooked pretty easily at those computer at university :)

I assume that this message makes sense in one case. If pluging in the keyboard, then pressing F1 gets the machine going again.

It's not as bad as it seems ;)

It's allways funny to see such error messages :)

Award's BIOS will also output a message with something to the affect of "video card not present" if a card is not found.

Care to know how I found this out? ;)
