  • Lol good one , and no you aren't the only person too miss the PDC.

What happens if you turn Option Explicit off ?

  • I have seen this exact same thing in VB.net. The solution is to use C# instead :).

  • I'm curious, could you please give me a reason why people put a screenshot in a .doc instead of .gif .jpg .png?

(Yes, this is a serious question)

  • It is what I know the best. I really do not work with gif .jpg .png.

  • JPEG is good for pictures like photos, GIF is very good for pictures with alot of areas in the same color.

PNG is the free variant of GIF, which is not totally supported in IE thou!!

GIF has patenting issues when you want to make a program that uses GIF generators, PNG does not

GIF works with a indexed color palette (255 max i believe?) where JPEG does not, it uses sinusses etc to do its compressing, GIF defines areas of the same color

The thing i do most of the time is take screenshot with Printscreen (or ALT+Printscreen to only capture the active window) Open photoshop, save it for web, and pick jpg or gif in there, because Paint sometimes does weird things to your gifs (like making the typical windows grey look greenish :))

But everything is better than .doc in my opinion, after al, doc is for a TEXT editor :)

  • what if mspaint do not work
