Last week Microsoft sent me an interesting couple of emails:

A full 3 days later I receive:

Vicki Collins (Brook Street) would like to recall the message, "Microsoft Most Valuable Professional Award".

Here's a FAQ about the message recall function in Exchange. I wonder if I've been blackballed. ;-)

I think its telling that it took 3 days for them to recall the message. That smells.

You will remain an MVP in our hearts no matter what the mob at M$ says.

I love getting recalls. Especially when I've not opened the original mail yet - it makes me instantly want to find out what they are trying to hide.

Maybe I should use recalls as a marketing tool? :)

This was probably seen by someone on the copylist, who told the sender to recall it. They would have been better to simply ignore any replies from Jamie, since this calls more attention to it.
