It's funny how blog's work...
Tonight I read Duncan's latest blog about using what you write. I can really relate to that as I've started to do it quite a bit myself lately. First, I built a tool that I use at least once a day to test regex's with ( Get regexSnippets ), then, I built a Windows application with a Jukebox-like interface so that I could view all of my rip'ped CD's and easily switch between Albums and Tracks.

Client side dilemma
I'm trying to ensure that I can run a piece of client script when the user presses a button to submit a form, but I only want to run it *if* the Form has been validated and only if a specific button has been pressed. In other words there could be fifty controls that would cause postbacks, I only want my client side script to run for a particular control... how do I do that again?

Re: the blogging style thing
My decision to leave a comment or create a new thread would more likely than not be based on whether or not my opinion introduces a new "commentable" issue. The fact that I put it in my blog means that I'm prepared to comment further on it without polluting the other bloggers thread. Pingbacks/Trackbacks make it easy enough to trace the origins of a thread if you are dedicated enough.
