Custom Data Systems, Inc. (www.cds-am.net), an industry leader in Association Management software, seeks a. NET Application Developer to assist with a FoxPro to VB.NET migration project in Glen Allen, VA.

The ideal candidate must be adept in software design, creativity and forward thinking.   Object Oriented Programming experience with VB.NET, preferably with Windows Forms, strong conceptual database design skills using SQL Server, debugging and analytical skills required. 

Experience with the following is a plus:  Nant, CruiseControl, OnTime, Janus Windows Forms Controls, DevExpress Reporting tools, Subversion & TortoiseSvn, FoxPro and Extreme Programming.

Experience in software and systems engineering required.  Must possess the ability and desire to work within a small team, have a high level of motivation and be persistent and work independently.  Candidates must have strong communication, time management and organization skills.

A degree in Computer Science or Information Systems is preferred but not required.
