VS 2005 and your graphics card
If you are using VS 2005 consider upgrading your graphics card.
We noticed right a way that the IDE was slow and sluggish using the integrated, on board graphics card that came with our machines. We updated to a 128MB graphics card and it made a world of difference in speed within the IDE. The IDE in 2005 is graphics heavy and the new card really helps. -
