Debugging Javascript in Visual Studio .NET
Just a reminder to myself but this can be useful if you are dealing a lot with Ajax stuff!
- Open in Internet Explorer Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced tab.
- Deselect the following (make the checkbox unchecked):
[ ] Disable Script Debugging
- Restart IE.
Now just add the following line of code to your JavaScript - it'll work as a breakpoint:
debugger;
Visit your page with the javascript using your fresh instance of IE, a window should prompt you to select a debugging environment. Select the MSVS.NET instance you have opened (or you could select 'New instance of Microsoft Development Environment'), and click 'Yes'.
Another window will prompt you to 'Choose the program types that you want to debug:' - make sure 'Script' is the only option selected, and click 'Ok' -

Go to a concert and get the CD
How cool is that! I went to a Jack L concert yesterday in Dublin (great performer). I was amazed to see that just at the end of the concert I could buy the CD of the night show, straight away with the pocket and the color label on the CD.

Why ignoring .Net 1.1?
It's just some thoughts I got reading the comments on my previous post. I can understand the excitement to work with .Net 2.0 but guys why ignoring the people who are still working with .Net 1.1 and happy too. I have myself some legits projects I want to keep as they are but I would like to give them some refreshment without jumping to the next version.

Can Atlas be compatible with Asp.Net 1.1?
Maybe I should address this to Scott Guthrie, but a lot of web developers I am sure are still using the .Net framework 1.1. Any chance we can use Atlas then?
