dotText with www.dotnetnuke site
I wanted to set dotText up on solo2.org this evening, but I did not want to set it up as I had on DnnCart.com and soloperformance.com with seperate subdomains blogs.dnncart.com and blogs.soloperformance.com. I wanted to set it up to be www.solo2.org/blogs/. Well, DotNetNuke has some HTTPHandlers that allow you to link to it's tabs by name, for example http://www.solo2.org/DesktopDefault.aspx?tabid=27 and http://www.solo2.org/project z/default.aspx both link to the same page. So that throws a kink into the www.solo2.org/blogs link as it throws a few errors when you try to reference the default.aspx page in the dotTextWeb directory (setup as a virtual directory for www.solo2.org/blogs)

MPx200 Lives again!
After about losing faith last night I was able to resurrect my mpx200. I did another Master Reset, and then waited, and waited, and waited. The phone acted like it was on, displayed info on the outside, but didn't show anything but the MLife splash screen on the inside. I had a friend dial the number, and that somehow woke the phone up out of it's slumber. So far it's running fine. I've rebooted only once though, at least until I get home, as I don't want to loose it again before I get off the airplane tonight so I can call my ride!

MPx200 died!
I think my MPx200 has died!!! I need to make some calls, so of course it's gone now. I'm sitting here waiting to see if it will finish doing a master reset, which wipes the flash and supposedly starts it over. It's been running now for a few minutes. I couldn't get the phone to hardly boot, it would boot into a funky mode, couldn't use the power button to shut it down.

It never rains in southern california
I know this isn't true, I lived in Riverside for 4 years, but I mean come on. I come out to California for work for a few days, and what happens? It rains! We had a suprise birthday party for my Aunt today, it rained, then my brother and I went out to Beverly Hills so I could look for a gift for someone, we walked up and down Rodeo drive in the rain.

How things change... vacation, to work really fast
I was hoping for a nice relaxing week this week. Then on Monday in class I got a call and was asked if I would go to California for some hotel conversions. I left Tuesday evening, got in to LAX late, swung by the parents house in Long Beach, then down to Irvine to the hotel I'm staying at. I spent the next 48 hours working, with a few hours of sleep here and there. I worked so much, drove so much, and was so busy that I ate two meals that whole time.

Blogjet VS NewsGator
What's the difference between the two? I guess the difference would only be with posting as I don't think BJ has feed capabilities, but I could be wrong. I've been using NG now for a while, as it allows me to post right from outlook, so it looks like I'm working!

I spent a bit of time this weekend installing UBB.Classic 6.7 onto SCCAForums.com, I had to add two hacks to the code, mainly the HitHack but it appears to not be working properly yet.

DotNetNuke and Windows Authentication
I hadn't worked with DotNetNuke and Windows Authentication at all, but last week a client came to me and wanted a portal setup that works with their Active Directory for logins. I ended up using the TTTCompany Windows Authentication module. It worked perfectly, done and setup in roughly 3-4 hours, but it could have been done in half the time, I also installed the PA version of the TTTCompany Application pack for the client so that they have an image gallery to use.
