Toronto Code Camp 2006: a stunning success

Thanks to a great pair of organizers (JL and Chris), a raft of sponsors, 30 volunteers (including Luis and Louella from EI), 17 others who came out to present, and over 200 developers, Saturday's Code Camp in downtown Toronto was a great experience for everyone involved!

The slide decks and source code will be posted to the Code Camp site as they arrive, mine should be up by mid-week. There is also a growing collection of photos from the event, check it out!

It was great to talk about ASP.Net for a change. Web Deployment Projects  really are a cool feature (the nutshell: WDPs automatically generate appropriate web.config files for dev / test / staging / production environments, removing a constant source of headaches in an elegant way), and putting this together was a treat. If you'd be interested in bringing this presentation to your user group or conference and are either a reasonable drive from the GTA or have a way to bring me in, let me know!
