Sahil wants YOU for his ADO.NET boot camp

Normally I don't p1mp blogposts of others here, but for my good friend Sahil Malik I'm happy to make an exception smileyregular . Sahil will be your instructor for everything ADO.NET 2.0 at the ADO.NET 2.0 boot camp. Read more at his blog.

I have no idea what a boot camp is in terms of software development. As an old demoscener I know what a 2-3 day nerd fest is where everyone brings his (her?) computer and codes random crap to get respect from the rest of the people 'in the scene', but I have a feeling a boot camp is something slightly different. Perhaps someone should organize a boot camp in Europe some time, like in The Netherlands. smileywink

If you know what 2-3 day nerd fest is in the demoscene, you know the women don't bring a computer. They just sit mindlessly (or as a zombie) next to their boyfriends, watching them produce some alien language in a weird text editor that looks nothing like their Word Perfect 5.1 ;)

I only knew one woman in the demoscene that DID bring her pc, but she was never behind her keyboard, because so was always "zo stoned als een garnaal" ;)

Dennis, completely untrue. When Frans talks, a lot of cute girls come and sit in the front seats. I've seen pictures as proof.
