  Yes, sorry I'm not at the summit this year. Bluntly speaking, I didn't expect to get renewed this year so as the summit is 2 weeks passed my renewal date, I didn't want to be there with a 'sorry, you can't enter' pass ;)

  Note: Microsoft invites MVPs to the summit even if they haven't been renewed today.

  I know they invited them, but there was much debate about what they were allowed to do (NDA stuff etc.) and if you weren't renewed at april 1st and you go to the summit, you can't access NDA-ed material, as you get a different badge. So I didn't want to take that risk.
